For more than 2 decades, the project at TF Green Airport was at a standstill due to the public and local residents. Stantec approached RDV Systems to provide visuals and aid the public to understand what is being proposed.
This model shows the design of proposed extensions to the runways at T.F. Green Airport to accommodate longer-range commercial flight service. One of the extensions involved clearing a large section of a residential neighborhood, re-routing of an arterial roadway, and re-location and replacement of an outdoor sports park. The model is being used by RIAC to present the plan and its impacts to neighborhood groups and local officials.
